Electro Magnetic Field
An Electro Magnetic Field is a physical field produced by electrically charged objects.
The field can be viewed as the combination of an electric field and magnetic field.
The electric field is produced by stationary charges, and magnetic field by moving charges(current); these two are often described as the sources of the field.
In other words
When a current is passing through a conductor  a field is generated around the conductor that field is called Electro Magnetic Field.
Electro Magnetic Field is directly proportional to Current

Uses/Applications:
1.     It is use in electronic communication in which data or signals is transfers in the form of electromagnetic waves. Eg. Mobile communication, satellite communication, radio, FM, etc.
2.     It is also use as switching in Relays and Contactors.
3.     Also use in electric bells.
4.     Used in DC Motors for generating magnetic flux.
